The West Side Baptist Church in Vancouver is a renovation and conversion project. The church congregation had acquired an older industrial office building and needed it to be converted into a church and community centre.
Our design operation included the removal of walls, structural reinforcement to allow for long span spaces and the insertion of an L-shaped ‘stage area’ that can be used for performance arts, church altar and baptism ‘bath’, support for a ball room condition and school graduation ceremonies.
